Coral Reefs WP7

Did you know that coral reefs are important for many different reasons? They contain very diverse ecosystems on the planet. Coral reefs protect our coasts from waves, storms, and floods. They are also home to almost 25% of all known marine species. I think that is very interesting because coral reefs are also animals. Another interesting fact is that if the coral reefs are not in bad condition or dying they can live for thousands of years? Sadly humans are killing them many times faster than they can grow. I hope you enjoyed some of these facts about coral reefs.
